last day at home- blizzard style.

First blog post! YAY!

Despite the two foot snow storm outside, I'm heading to Cape Town, South Africa tomorrow. What a surreal feeling, but I whole heartedly could not be more excited. It feels similarly to how I felt moving out to USC freshman year... but on steroids. Feelings of excitement, nerves, discomfort, anxiety, butterflies, but so so much happiness. It's going to be amazing. (!!!!!!) I feel like the luckiest girl in the entire world with this opportunity.

Today was a nice last day at home. It was well spent with my family, good food, packing and an attempt at making a snowman and sledding down the mini hill in the backyard.
